The Boy is Back in Town (Harry Potter that is)
Today was a day for the history books for Belfast movie goers as Harry Potter The Deathly Hallows comes out at midnight tonight. Starting at nine this morning people began lining up outside of the theater for their spot in line. By five o’clock people where trying to bargain with people for seats! The kids had the right idea, bringing couches, bean bag chairs and games. If you walked by you would see pizza boxes, cards, sleeping bags, umbrellas and ipads along with many other things to make the time go by faster. People of all ages stood and waited to get the chance to say they where one of the first to see it, and boy did they get in the spirit of Harry!
Getting ready for show
After a day at the beach modeling with Kathleen and Ron Hawkes, I am now wrapping up the last of my Photos for the Celtic Celebration starting on Saturday. I am finishing matting/ framing my photos which has been a long process but a fun one! Here is a few of the photos that will be at the Tent:
Proms, prep and purses http://stormbowen.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php
The last week has definitely been a crazy one. Between two proms, studying for SAT’s and working on a clay project I have found myself with not a whole lot of “free time”. The proms in both Searsport and Belfast where loads of fun, SAT prep….. not so much but I will get through it, and working on my clay purse….. TIME CONSUMING! But all in all it was a good week. I also took pictures at the last home track meet for Belfast which was a very crazy event to shoot. Who would have known they can have five events going on at ONE TIME?!?! Below are some photos from prom, a photo of my clay purse, and the link to the track meet (SAT prep is the one place I did not take my camera this weekend haha). Hope you had a great week!
The weather in Belfast has been 100% rainy and nasty all week it seems. This makes for a grumpy school environment that’s for sure. Sporting events getting canceled, meetings getting postponed, plans getting rained out, it just does not want to stop! Coming home from school on Wednesday I was surprised to find that across from my house in the little pond we have, there is a family of mallards living there (who decided a rainy day was the safest time for the little baby chicks to come out). So, me being well…. me, came home and ran for the camera, then ran outdoors to get some shots. This is a bunch of photogenic birds I must say. When done, I continued to shoot around town and ended up getting some shots I was SUPER happy with! Guess the rainy day
didn’t turn out so bad after all!
